Lesson summary: By the end of this lesson, students should be able to look at a rational, rational square root, square root, and logarithm functions and be able to identify their domains using their special cases. Furthermore, one should be able to identify whether a function is even or odd by manipulating the equation (f(-x) or -f(x)) and comparing it to the original equation. In addition, one should be able to find the slope of a secant line utilizing an interval. One should also be able to use limits to find the derivative of functions, be able to find the slope of a tangent line, and use derivatives to find the vertex form of quadratic functions.
