Lesson Summary: By the end of this lesson, one should be comfortable with completing the square to get the vertex form for quadratic and circles (x^2 + bx + (b/2)^2. Furthermore, one should be able to identify a circle conic given an equation as one knows that A must equal C in the general form conic equation. One should be familiar with the terminology of a circle knowing that it contains a diameter, a radius, and a center. Furthermore, the distance from the center to a point on the circle is always equidistant.
