Lesson Summary: By the end of this lesson, students should be able to look at a graph and be able to identify its domain, range, holes, intercepts, end behavior, local maximums and local minimums, absolute maximums and absolute minimums, and intervals in which the graph is increasing and decreasing. Furthermore, one should understand that when a graph is symmetrical about the origin it is odd, and when a graph is symmetrical about the y- axis it is even. In addition, one should be familiar with the terminology governing the solutions of a graph as they may also be called x-intercepts, roots, or zeros. Lastly, one should understand the significance of DxiRyd in remembering and differentiating between x and y.
